Fatima Yamaha to play Gorilla Manchester in April

The Dutch electronic producer returns with new album 'Spontaneous Order' in Autumn

Date published: 30th Jun 2020

Dutch electronic producer Fatima Yamaha (aka Bas Bron) will head out on tour in Spring 2021, following the release of new album 'Spontaneous Order' in Autumn.

Once something of an enigma (Fatima Yamaha was rumoured to be 'a young lady born to a Japanese father and a Turkish mother... a girl born between worlds') the persona is one of many - including Seymour Bits and Bastian - adopted by Bron over the years.

First emerging in 2004 with the now cult Lost In Translation-sampling track ‘What’s A Girl To Do’, Yamaha released the critically-acclaimed album ‘Imaginary Lines’ over a decade later in 2015 via his own Magnetron Music label.

In 2017, Yamaha released the 'Araya' EP via Amsterdam-based Dekmantel, just a few months after a show-stealing set at Dekmantel Festival 2016.

After more than a year hiatus, Fatima Yamaha is returning with a new album and a new tour, taking in Manchester's Gorilla on Saturday 24th April.

Tickets can be purchased below from Thursday 2nd July.
