FATBOY SLIM
 ‘The Greatest Hits’ Remixed
Skint Records - 24th September 2007

The list of heavyweights given the nod to f*ck with Norm’s originals weren’t going to give this the usual re-lick treatment.  Hell no…  Comment after comment rolls in from the ‘A’ list posse of talented scene leaders and tastemakers featured on this 2 x CD ‘once over’ dance music anthology; all chuffed, flattered and honoured to feature on this latest episode of the Fatboy phenomenon.

This is no Slim obituary or au revoir.  It’s the cream of Dance music through the eyes of some of the Worlds finest producers.  Imagine ‘Arena One’ at the biggest dance party; your musical dream team or if you had Beckhams money (but your own taste!) line up for that World Cup warm up party?

It is showtime and everyone’s at the party.  From The Chemicals and Krafty Kuts to new boys Justice and Switch.  Each track proof that the Remixed experience for Fatboy’s Greatest Hits has been a special one.  The attention to detail one might administer on a first trip to see the in-laws.  Although the real experience something akin to being chosen by the ‘God of Dance’ to perform musical surgery.

As the Plump DJs say… We were chuffed to bits when we got asked to remix one of Norms classics and there could be only one, from where we were sitting it had to be Everyone Needs A 303.  The original was an anthem at many of the clubs we enjoyed back in the day, a big inspiration for us.  Last year our remix became the most wanted, by peeps that came to hear us play, what a great feeling. Nice one Mr Slim!

The 8 million album sales, gongs, videos and more gongs are all there.  The big up from his peers and the careers inspired now written down, relayed and Remixed.

Keep an eye out for the single package featuring Remixes from Junky XL/The Chemicals/Justice.
