Ben Deily needs no introduction. As the founder member of THE LEMONHEADS, Ben was responsible for most of the finest moments on the LEMONHEADS first three albums, before splitting with Evan Dando who would in turn mould the LEMONHEADS into the mass grunge – pop multi –selling pioneers they became.

Now, Mr Ben Deily graces European shores for the first time with his new band, VARSITY DRAG. Debut album "FOR CRYING OUT LOUD" released on Boss Tuneage features nine perfectly crafted Deily-penned songs and shows that over the last decade he has lost none of his unique genius for writing crafty power pop-punk rock gems. To co-incide with the bands first European tour, "For Crying Out Loud" is also to be made available on limited edition 10" coloured vinyl with a bonus remix of "Miles Of Ocean"

Big Cheese magazine called it "A sun soaked mature pop punk album, proving Deily’s ability to write some superb mature yet raw pop songs - 4 out of 5"

Alongside VARSITY DRAG songs, Ben will also be treating audiences to some of his finest LEMONHEADS songs as well!
