Emerging South Asian artists invited to apply for fully funded Resonate residency

Studio time, mentorship, live performance slots and international showcase opportunities are all up for grabs as Dialled Industry launches the latest edition of its artist development programme.

Emerging South Asian artists looking to push their music careers to the next level have a huge opportunity on the table as Dialled Industry, from the team behind Dialled In, has officially reopened applications for the latest edition of its Resonate residency.

Returning for its third year, the fully funded 10-day residency will take place at Migration Studios from 4th to 13th of August, giving three UK-based artists or producers the chance to develop new music, sharpen their live sets and collaborate alongside industry mentors.

Backed by PRS Foundation and Arts Council England, the programme is focused on creating more accessible routes into music for South Asian creatives while championing boundary-pushing new talent from across the UK.

Artists selected for the residency will receive studio access, mentorship and creative support throughout the camp, with all costs fully covered. One artist will also land a performance slot at an international showcase, while the remaining residents will perform at a future Dialled In event.

Applications are open to South Asian musicians and producers aged 18 and over who are already releasing original music. To apply, artists must have released at least four tracks or an EP and submit a creative concept explaining the project they want to build during the residency.

The announcement follows another major year for Dialled In, which has become one of the UK’s leading platforms spotlighting alternative South Asian culture since launching in 2021. Alongside artist development projects and live events, the collective has helped bring South Asian talent to stages including the ARRIVALS stage at Glastonbury Festival, as well as shows at Southbank Centre and Union Chapel.

This year will also see previous Resonate artists Hasznat, Lotus Phaze and Baria return to perform at Dialled In London 5th Birthday in Dalston on Saturday, May 30th.

Applications for Resonate are open now and close on June 12th 2026.
