Here's what you can experience at this year's Doc'n Roll Film Festival.

Date published: 10th Oct 2025

The Doc'n Roll Film Festival takes place in London across multiple venues and features screenings of music documentaries. This year, it will take place between October 23rd and November 9th.

Utilising many of London's most prestigious venues including The Barbican, BFI Southbank and The Rio, a wide range of legends and musical topic will be explored on the screen. Just a few of the names covered include The Sex Pistols and Boy George and Culture Club, with topics including queer chart history and the birth of house music.

Colm Forde, the programmer and co-founder of Doc'n Roll Film Festival said; "This year’s programme reflects our DIY spirit and our commitment to giving a platform to the charismatic, compelling, unforgettable talents outside the mainstream. As an independent festival, we take pride in working against the grain, and we’re thrilled to showcase filmmakers and musicians whose bold creativity aligns with our ethos.”
