Carl Donnelly

Carl started performing stand-up in 2005 and quickly established himself as one of theUKs most exciting young comedians. His conversational, silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.

In 2009, Carl performed his debut solo show Relax everyone, its Carl Donnelly! at the Edinburgh Fringe for which he was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Since then Carl has returned toEdinburghwith two further solo shows as well as performing at the biggest comedy festivals in the world (Montreal Just for Laughs, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Kilkenny Cat Laughs etc).

Carl has also appeared on various TV shows including Mock The Week, Daves One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week andRussellHowards Good News. He is also a regular on radio appearing as a guest on such shows as BBC 5lives The Back End of Next Week, Radio 4s Loose Ends and Act Your Age as well as being a regular guest on talkSPORT.

Excellent, fast-rising comic with pacy anecdotal routines
SundayTimes

Donnelly has developed a style that is the antithesis of the loud, sweaty, manic comic so prevalent on the telly and live tours at the moment. This is stand up with valium: near horizontal levels of louche that take the mundane stories of everyday life and turns them into stretches of self deprecating silliness

Jarlath Regan

Award winning comedian, writer and star of the hit Irish panel show, The Panel, Jarlath Regan has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up.

Since 2007 Jarlath has brought five solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe. Between enjoying sell-out runs and earning rave reviews, its easy to see why he has become a darling of the festival circuit. Jarlaths numerous international comedy festival performances include appearances at The Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, The New Zealand Comedy Festival and the Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane festivals as a part of the Best of The Edinburgh Fest Showcase tours.

A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlaths first published book How To Break Bad News (Transworld for Random House) was an instant best-seller. Comprising a collection of his beautifully illustrated while hilariously dark greeting cards, the book gained many celebrity fans including Ardal OHanlon who called it Original, funny and deliciously wrong!

Jarlaths second book Putting A Ring On It - What Not To Do When Attempting To Get Married, was released in April 2011, featured more than 200 brand new illustrations and became a cult hit in his homeland.

An accomplished television and radio presenter, in 2011 Jarlath co-hosted and devised comedy segments for a season of childrens television on Irelands national broadcaster RTE.

In 2007 Jarlath made a three-part documentary about the Edinburgh Fringe for TV3. While following his progress in writing his first solo show, the documentary also saw Jarlath interview some of the worlds biggest comedians and pose as his own agent while blagging his way behind some of the festivals velvet ropes.

Jarlaths other credits include the Comedy Centrals The World Stands Up, Last Comic Standing on NBC, Live at The Stand Comedy Club for BBC Radio Scotland and The Apprentice Youre Fired (TV3).

Jarlaths range of twisted greeting cards for every occasion can be found on his delightful website www.jigser.com
