N-Dubz have given up tracksuits for cardigans.

The 'Best Behaviour' group said they are "trying to grow up" and shed their previous image of a tracksuit wearing group of grime-pop rebels, as they prepare to embark on a campaign to launch their career in America.

Producer Fazer said: "We're trying to grow up. Everyone thinks they know N-Dubz for straight Adidas tracksuits, but we don't like that.

Rapper Dappy added: "From now we're starting things like cardigans, crazy shirts, these crazy kind of brown trousers, these crazy suave shoes."

Fazer added that because of the group's image people wrongly perceive how often they appear in sportswear.

He added: "You'll never see me and Dappy go out and buy a straight tracksuit unless it's to wear in the house before we go to bed or if we go down to the gym - if we go to the gym."

While Dappy and Fazer are concentrating on sharpening their image up, they both paid compliment to bandmate Tulisa, who they say can make anything look good.

Dappy added: "Anything you give me and Fazer to wear, we will wear. But anything you give Tulisa to wear - even if she don't like - it she'll make it look absolutely amazing, she can seriously make anything look good. Armani, Versace, Gucci, listen up!"

'Best Behaviour' is available now, while N-Dubz as-yet-untitled album will be released on November 19.
