One of the most innovative and influential scratch artists, DJ Yoda, is headed to The Forum in London on Friday 13th March and Band On The Wall in Manchester on Saturday 14th March to launch his brand new collaboration album Breakfast of Champions.
In September DJ Yoda met with 13 up-and-coming musicians, vocalists and visual artists at Band On The Wall to create a totally new music concept as part of the Wall of Sounds artistic residency series. What emerged after five intense days of experimenting was a new album, Breakfast of Champions.
DJ Yoda is considered to be a scratch pioneer, his critically acclaimed mix CD How to Cut and Paste showcased the extent of his talents and ability to confidently push musical boundaries. The Breakfast of Champions group channel the same infectious energy that DJ Yoda always has (check them out in action above).
Support for the London event comes from nine piece hip-hop group The Mouse Outfit, whose debut album Escape Music won the Worldplay Magazine's Hip Hop album of the year. Get your tickets for the London show here. The following day producer extraordinaire Shlomo provides the support. Head here for Manchester tickets.
DJ Yoda will be playing one of his signature audio visual sets on both dates.
