ComposerCon brings leading music industry voices to East London

Dedicated to the craft, career and future of music composition, ComposerCon takes place tomorrow in Dalston.

A one-day conference dedicated to music composition is landing in East London next week. ComposerCon 2026 brings together leading industry voices with audio and technology brands for a day of demonstrations, insights and more to Evolutionary Arts Hackney (EartH) in Dalston on Wednesday 23rd September.

The conference will take place within a landscape where, despite the global music production market being projected to surpass 6 billion by 2026, composers are a profession constantly under threat from a constantly evolving industry. 

Some of the topics being discussed at ComposerCon include the rise of AI tools, publishing rights, and how to navigate a stable career in an increasingly unstable climate. From the changing landscape of games scoring to income streams for proposers and gender diversity in composition, there is something interesting to uncover and new to discuss at ComposerCon. 

Once the panels and talks are over, stick around for DJ sets from Arnie Wrong and Si Begg from 7pm. ComposerCon 2026 takes place at Dalston cultural landmark EartH tomorrow, 23rd September 2026, opening at noon.
