Classic Case, the North Carolina five-piece, are set to hit the UK hard when they arrive on British soil for their first UK tour. Starting at London’s Islington Academy on Saturday April 22 (see full tour details below) the tour finishes with two shows at the second Give It A Name festival on Saturday 29 April and Sunday 30 April 2006, which also features the likes of My Chemical Romance, Lostprophets, Taking Back Sunday, and Panic! At The Disco. Classic Case are the next big thing to hit our shores as part of the rock / pop / punk explosion that is currently taking the music scene by storm. Paramore, Drive By, and The Blackout will join them on the 4-way equal billing Give It A Name Introduces Tour.

Armed with a lineup composed of members from some of the most significant and groundbreaking bands of the past decade, Classic Case has an explosive live set and a sound made out of the best hardcore with a touch of alt-rock. Members Jared Draughon (vocals / guitar / keyboards), Josh Moore (guitar / vocals), Mitchell Marlow (guitar), Eric Mendelson (bass guitar), and Durijah Lang (drums) form one of the hottest bands of the moment.

Founding members Jared Draughon and Mitchell Marlow formed in 2002. It soon became obvious they had something special on their hands, and thus added drummer Stephan Linde (Sons of Abraham, Glassjaw) to the lineup, with bassist Eric Mendelson following shortly thereafter. The quartet slowly yet surely built quite a profile in the States, touring with The Used, Orgy, Taking Back Sunday, and Underoath amongst others.

They also recorded and released an EP dubbed It's Been Business Doing Pleasure With You.

In 2004, Stephan Linde left the band to be replaced by longtime friend Durijah Lang (Glassjaw, The Stryder). A few months after Lang joined the band, Classic Case went into the recording studio to record their first album. In 2005, the band saw the addition of vocalist/guitarist Josh Moore, formerly of Beloved. They released their debut full-length, Dress to Depress, on Help/Fiddler Records in October 2005 in the US and the band are poised to take over the UK market when the album is released here.
