Chic & Nile Rodgers confirmed for Liverpool International Music Festival

They join the likes of De La Soul and Ella Eyre on the already announced LIMF line up.

The line up for this year's Liverpool International Music Festival keeps getting better, with Nile Rodgers and Chic now confirmed to headline on Saturday 20th July at Sefton Park.

Saturday at LIMF will also see Liverpool institution 3Beat Records celebrate its 30th anniversary. 30 musicians will be performing the label’s biggest hits, with special guests including platinum-selling SIGMA, British-German DJ duo M-22 and local house producer Anton Powers.

Disco Classical is set to lead the way on Sunday, with special guest Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge. They'll be re-imagining classics like ‘We Are Family’ and ‘He’s The Greatest Dancer’ brought to the stage with the help of Manchester Camerata Orchestra.

Hip-hop pioneers De La Soul will also make an appearance, along with chart-topping star Ella Eyre.

Liverpool International Festival runs from Sunday Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st July.
