Charlie Sparks announces debut album, ‘Power Up’

The album’s title track is out now, with the album coming in May.

Techno favourite Charlie Sparks has revealed details about his ten-track debut album, Power Up.

The ‘Welcome To London’ producer and DJ has today announced the details of his debut album, and released a new single alongside it, also named ‘Power Up’. You can listen to it now below. 

The single is the first of seven that will be released in the run-up to the album’s release, which will be dropped on Charlie’s own label ELEKTRA on 29th May. 

The album’s next single will land on 20th March. 

His “most complete and personal statement to date”, the album will see stripped-back techno colliding with acid pressure, psy-driven momentum, jungle and breaks influence, rave intensity and commanding vocal moments.

About the album, Charlie said: “The album is a testament to the four-year journey of battles I’ve faced, both within the music industry and my personal life. 

“It chronicles walls that I’ve overcome time again, from my first professional show until now and how those experiences have profoundly shaped both meand my sound.”
