Belladrum Announce DJ Competition

Belladrum continue with their policy of supporting up and coming artists as well as the more established by announcing the arrival of their very own DJ competition.

With the already announced goNORTH stage showcasing some of the finest new bands and relatively undiscovered gems in Scotland - Belladrum Tartan Heart presents its chance for budding bedroom jocks to play at Scotland's favourite boutique festival. In association with Headphone Disco’s silent disco party - the selected DJs will play over one of the 2 channels on offer to the headphone ravers in attendance at the festival, held on the 2nd & 3rd of August.

With the winners performing alongside the much loved Headphone Disco residents to a crowd that could potentially number in the thousands. All you have to do to win one of the four 30 minute slots on offer is put together a 20 minute mix together, upload to soundcloud, forward the link to

The more creative, the more eclectic the better - this is your chance to show your DJing mettle - the judges will do the rest.

DJ Competition T & C's

  • Entrants must be existing Bella ticket holders. Winning the competition does not confer free entry or include any guest list allowance.

  • Tech equipment supplied will be 2 X Pioneer CDJ1000 CD turntables. Entrants must be able to use this set-up. Alternatively winners may supply their own USB controllers.

  • The competition judges have the final say and all decisions are final.

  • There is no cash alternative to the prize.

  • Tartan Heart Festival retain the right to cancel, amend or alter the details of this competition at any time and for any reason.
