What makes a good DJ? Well their role is to ultimately introduce the masses to new and old music, open up minds and create memories that will last a lifetime. It's easy to be a DJ, but to be a good DJ with a real skill set and incomparable flare - that's when a hobby becomes a profession, and a passion.
The Bass Music Awards celebrates and commemorates the artists, tracks, labels and clubs which make the genre so exciting and diverse. Every year it gives you the chance to cast your vote on who you think has been relevant to the scene, and in this case, who you think is the best DJ around.
The ever eclectic Skream nabbed the award last year (watch him live above to see why) and the 2015 nominations include everyone from Andy C to MK, Deekline to Claude VonStroke and DJ EZ to Skrillex. The full list of nominees is as below. You can cast your vote on the BMA website.
