Bandcamp Fridays have returned to allow fans to directly support artists and labels via sales on Bandcamp.
Returning on Friday 1st August, Bandcamp Fridays was launched in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for music fans to support artists during a time when touring wasn’t possible as venues were closed.
The scheme sees Bandcamp waive its revenue share, passing funds directly to artists and labels for 24 hours. Fans have paid over $120 million (£90,280,800) to independent music since its launch.

The last Bandcamp Friday in May raised over $3.2 million (£2.4 million) in 24 hours, according to a press release.
Bandcamp Fridays run from midnight to midnight PST (8am to 8pm, BST). There will be three more Bandcamp Fridays in 2025: 5th September, 3rd October, and 5th December.
Bandcamp is an online record store founded in 2008. Popular with smaller independent artists, it’s a platform used by many fans who want to directly support the artists who make their favourite music.
