The BEAT IT sessions are run by experienced and enthusiastic session workers. BEAT IT provides the opportunity for people to express themselves through music and performing arts, develop self esteem, confidence, learn new skills, meet new people. BEAT IT is run on a group basis and the session workers ensure that what they deliver is led by the individuals taking part. The sessions involve arts and crafts, performing arts, singing, dancing, karaoke, and there are a wide range of instruments to be used including a drum kit, hand drums, djembe, bongo drum, guitars, keyboard, and DJ equipment. We also provide opportunities to perform and show off what they have learnt through being part of BEAT IT.
