This Friday, Porthleven Food Festival 2026 kicks off in Cornwall, marking the start of three days of brilliant food, chef demos, live music, family-friendly activities, food and drink masterclasses, comedy, experiences, and more.

Running from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th April, the award-winning fest boasts plenty of fun and opportunities to celebrate good food with street food, demos, and more.

Taking a look at just some of its 2026 programme, some of the UK’s most inspiring chefs will head down, including Michelin star-awarded Tom Brown, Paul Welburn of Fern, Hylton Espey of Culture, Olivia Barry of Adelina Yard, Antony Worrall Thompson, and more.

While the festival is free to attend, some events will be ticketed.

One of the festival’s ticketed events is The Comedy Roast, which takes place on the Saturday, where you can sit down for a two-course Cornish roast dinner prepared and cooked by Duchy Hospitality while enjoying a comedy show from seasoned stand-up talent.

A new addition to this year’s programme is The Chef’s Table, presented by Sharp’s Brewing Co. Perched on the harbourside, this is where you'll find food and drink masterclasses, tastings, and behind-the-scenes conversations. This includes wine tasting, Sharp's beer quizzes, Sharp's Private Chef Podcast, a knife skills class, and more.

Also new for this year, the Moors Village Fair will hold two days of free family fun and games, including lawn games, tug of war, a community BBQ picnic, pop-ups, egg and spoon races, and more.
