As Night Falls (PL) - Symphonic Metal Hailing From Katowice, Poland.

It all began in the summer of 2010 when two musicians who had already known one another from their previous musical projects ? vocalist Anna Achtelik and guitarist Pawe? Dylewski, decided to create the project of their dreams ? a symphonic metal band that would follow in the footsteps of the greatest bands of the genre, but still remaining original and searching for their own style.

After adding additional members to the band, the first songs were created very quickly and the first shows were played at the beginning of 2012. The very positive reaction given by people attending those first live shows confirmed that the musical direction was r...ight. The first studio record was released later that year ? an EP called My Secret Place, containing four songs, and the first music video for a song called My Memory. In the meantime, new material was being composed and the band attended multiple shows and festivals. In 2014 As Night Falls released their second EP entitled From Grace To Oblivion.

In late 2016 the band released their first full length LP, entitled Embrace the Journey. This LP took the band on the next step of their journey, which saw them tour Europe during late 2016 and into 2017, and now they are bringing their music to UK shores for two very special shows in London and Leicester during March 2018.

The band has previously supported several Globally successful bands: Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish), Liv Kristine (Leaves Eyes), Eluveitie, Antimatter, Jelonek, Proletaryat, Artrosis, and many more.

Formed in 2010 by Maggiebeth Sand and Mark Powell, English symphonic rock/metal band, Serpentyne, are authors of a musical movement characterised by a merging of sound and styles.

Their first album, ?Stella Splendens? (2010) was based solely on medieval music and mythical themes featuring the ethereal voice of Maggiebeth Sand and Mark Powell?s hurdy-gurdy. Their second, ?Myths and Muses? (2014) added elements of world and dance music to the band?s sound. ?Myths and Muses? is an album with a very different spirit from ?Stella Splendens-? more lively, and rhythmic, and less ?classic?.

In September 2016 came the latest, ?The Serpent?s Kiss?, which further changes direction from the sound point of view while preserving the mythical themes of previous albums.

Serpentyne?s ?The Serpent?s Kiss? aligns with symphonic metal bands like Epica, Within Temptation and Nightwish, but also with the folk-rock of Blackmore?s Night and the Celtic metal of Eluveitie.
Maggie Sand?s voice combines, expression, technique and timbre, to have a certain originality in the folk / symphonic panorama.
Recommended for folk metal / rock lovers who like symphonic metal guitars.
