Anthea and Alex Celler at Plan B in August

Into the Music comes to London, the Matto Brothers bring with them an exciting line up with three headline names in the form of Anthea, Alex Celler and Sinisa Tamamovic. They take over award winning venue Plan B in Brixton, with a warehouse feel and Funktion One sound system this is the perfect setting for the melodic base driven tech house of their guests. Flying in from her base in Berlin is world renowned DJ Anthea, currently a part of Cecille, Phonica, Air London and Desolat labels she has really made a name for herself and has just been announced to play at Loco Dice’s ‘Used and Abused’ parties at Ushauaia in Ibiza over the summer. Her style is somewhere between house and techno with emphasis on funky sounds and deep bass. Anthea will be playing a special back to back set with Alex Celler, the pair have collaborated on many tracks in particular “The Playmaker” which still holds a spot in Resident Advisors Top 40 tracks of all time. Alex’s style is energetic, with strong basslines and rhythmic melodies. It’s fair to say the pair have a chemistry that will be reflected in their set and we look forward to having them play for us.
