Festive feelgood film Love Actually is being brought to life at a pop-up cinema experience coming to Manchester.

The immersive screening of Richard Curtis's Christmas classic will include live action surprises including a gospel choir (remember Juliet and Peter's wedding scene?).

Fans of the film can also look forward to dance performances, Christmas music, themed cocktails and street food while they watch the rom-com on a 30ft screen.

Sponsored by Lambrini, the pop-up cinema will take over Mayfield Depot on Friday December 8 and Saturday December 9.

Ticketholders will be treated to a complimentary drink on arrival and there will also be a bar selling drinks including Lambrini, prosecco, JJ Whitley Vodka, Marqués de Cáceres wine, The Pogues Irish Whiskey, Crabbie?s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Tsingtao Beer.

Event organiser Steven Matthews said: ?We chose Manchester to hold our first Love Actually Live event as it?s by far one of the UK?s most Christmassy cities.

"With the famed Christmas Markets and shops, bars and restaurants embracing the party season, Love Actually Live offers another reason for people to celebrate the festivities in Manchester.?

Directed by Richard Curtis and originally released in cinemas in 2003, Love Actually tells ten separate yet interweaving stories of love around Christmas time.

Tickets to Love Actually Live at Mayfield Depot cost £14.99 and are on sale now from loveactuallylive.com .
