Locations in Lancashire, including Brockholes Nature Reserve, Lancaster Castle, Hoghton Tower and Accrington Town Hall have been selected to host their spectacular Crafty Vintage fairs.

Family team; Laura, Dave and Dan Johnson curate the line up of makers, creators, collectors, artisans and performers at each event which showcase hand made skills, creativity and oozes inspiration.

The events began back in 2011 by holding a small fair at Whalley Church Hall, bringing together friendly and creative folk to sell their collections of vintage, retro wares, collectables and handmade delights.

They discovered so many talented people out there, that they soon needed larger venues to hold events. The company now produce many events across the North West and also host areas within festivals across the UK.

Director Dan Johnson said: "We had a huge year in 2016 with capacity crowds at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe and at our Christmas Markets at Brockholes, plus we launched new events in Skipton and Appleby. It feels great to be adding more locations in Lancashire this year and give people more opportunities to shoplocal in support of independent businesses."

From vintage fashions, gorgeous gifts and hand made items the fairs now attract families from across the UK. A varied line up of entertainment is also included, giving emerging musicians a helping hand in building their fanbase as well as presenting immersive street theatre, circus workshops and close up magic.

Dan added; "We?ll also be expanding our Streetfood Cantina zone. Our visitors love to taste international cuisine and see it freshly prepared in front of them without the formalities and expense incurred in a traditional restaurant."

The Bread and Butter pop up cocktail bar, hosted by internationally renewed mixologist Tiago Velasco at Crafty Vintage is also celebrating being voted ?Best in Lancashire? and will be offering a series of cocktail making master classes throughout the year.

The first Crafty Vintage event of 2017 takes place at Brockholes Floating Village on the 25th and 26th of March and then moves to Lancaster Castle over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of April.
