Sacha Lord-Marchionne is a very busy man. But with the much anticipated lineup for Parklife Festival 2011 being revealed today, we thought it only right to add to his 'to-do' list by tracking him down for a quick Q&A.

In between organising The Warehouse Project, Parklife Festival, Hideout Festival and Live From Jodrell Bank, the man of the moment found a minute to sit down with Skiddle and talk about Parklife 2011.

Why did you decide to extend the event to two days this year?

Because the feedback from last year was that the event was over too quickly!

Apart from the extra day, are there any major differences between Parklife 2010 and Parklife 2011?

Yes… creatively, there are some very nice surprises in store.

Last year you ran an outdoor Ian Brown gig on the Friday night. Were you not tempted to do something similar this year?

It's possibly something that we may consider in the future. We did look at it this year, but decided, one step at a time.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve been faced with when pulling this event together?

Everyone asking what the bloody line-up is!

And what aspect of the festival are you most proud of?

It's a Manchester festival, brought to you by a Manchester team.

Which act are you personally most looking forward to seeing? Is there anyone you haven’t seen live before?

DJ Shadow… Elvis!

Any surprises in store?

Yes.

Did you learn any lessons last year that have led to improvements in the festival this year?

Yes, we have a much better and quicker queuing system, a lot more toilets, more catering units… and we are all going to wear sun cream!

If you could choose one song to soundtrack Parklife 2011, what would it be?

Cliff Richard, 'We’re all going on a Summer holiday'

Finally, and very importantly, what's the toilet situation this year?

They're everywhere!!

The lineup for Parklife 2011 has now been revealed. See the line-up here and get your tickets before they all go!
