Six time Academy Award nominated actress Amy Adams makes her West End debut in The Glass Menagerie; one of the most celebrated plays of all time.
Though devastated by her husband’s abandonment, Amanda Wingfield remains committed to the dream of building a good life for her children, Tom and Laura. However, this belief soon opposes her children’s own wants and ambitions.
Tom cannot help but feel suffocated by his life in St Louis, and Laura is close to shattering under the pressure from her mother, who believes that to ensure her daughter’s future, she must find her a suitable husband. As tensions build, the fine thread that connects dignity to desperation is pulled to breaking point.
