Micron celebrates 12th birthday

One of Manchester's most well-loved institutions turns 12 this year, returning to the venue where their journey began back in 2006 - Joshua Brooks.

The party in question is Micron, which has built up a reputation for pushing the best in underground house and techno during that time. Previous guests have included the likes of Ben Klock, Ame, Derrick Carter and more, not to mention a stint at Alfresco Festival ealrier this year.

They'll be basking in the milestone with a doubleheader of shindigs, both boasting a special three hour set from the respective headliners First up is Folamour, the disco-house enthusiast behind one of 2017's finest albums, the Classic released Umami. Then following that the original kingpin dance music noir DJ Hell rocks up, bringing his seismic ensemble of killer electro and techno.
