Was great music last night the reggae on the terrace was a great touch playing some of the classics and the music in both inside rooms was great too. However the atmosphere was a bit rough at times due to the amount of people in there at the time but still was a good night

Mikee-Freedom's Review of Bass Exposure at CLOCKWORK

Overall rating: 5

Bass Exposure @ Clockwork 3rd of May 2009.
Upstaires room was huge with a capasity of over 2000 the place was packed from about 12:30am Hytal Rockers were first on and played a cool reggae dub steppers set next up was Mikee Freedom playing some Old Skool Ragga & Dancehall specials that got the early arrivals on there dancing toes untill about 12:15am Then the first Live performance of the night was from Bristols rising stars (LaidBlak) who kicked off with there latest Music Video offering which got the crowd chearing as they saw parts of there home town in the Video then Laid Blak played a 1 hour live set that rocked the Bristol crowd and screaming for more at the end of there set. Then Dj Bunjy (Producer & Dj) for LaidBlak span some heavy weight tunes despite the mixer playing up but as profesional as ever carried on and kept the ever growing crowd on there toes. Rebel Mc rocked out a nice blend of steppers meets Jungle (downstaires). Then came the star of the show Saxon sound international's very own Tippa Irie who smashed through the soundsystem into the ears and dancing toes of the Bristol Crowd performing some old faves as well as dropping some new styles all in all i prefered the upstaires room with reggae ragga steppers and live performances from Laid Blak & Tippa Irie. Well worth going to the next Bass Exposure if this event was anything to go by.

kjordan's Review of Beat@Bristol Valentine Special at Clockwork Club, Bristol

Overall rating: 4.5

Absolutely wicked. Ragga Twins are the dons - staying true to the old jungle beats but also keeping it fresh - they absolutely tore down the place I could have danced til the sun came up!
