One of hip hop's most regal figures, Peanut Butter Wolf, is making his way back to the UK, for a doubleheader of shows later this year of his famed A/V DJ sets.
As head of the legendary Stones Throw records, Peanut Butter Wolf has presided over some of the most forward-thinking music of the last 25 years, including the likes of Dam-Funk, J Dilla and Quasimoto. They were even the subject of music documentary, Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton, which included appearances from Kanye West, Talib Kweli and Tyler the Creator.
He touches down in Liverpool's Kitchen St venue on Saturday July 21st, then on Sunday September 10th he'll make his way to Band on the Wall in Manchester. It'll be over four years since he performed in Liverpool, with his show at the sadly now departed venue the Kazimer still revered by many (we were there - read our Peanut Butter Liverpool review).
