We Out Here Festival is held at Wimborne St Giles, Dorset.

We Out Here is a family friendly festival and welcomes all ages. however, the festival enforces that all under 18s tickets are obtained along with an adult ticket and request that all under 18s are accompanied by the adult their ticket was bought with at the main festival gates on arrival.

We Out Here is proud to offer a range of street food stalls celebrating great flavours of the world. With plenty of vegan and gluten free options there is something for everyone.

Upon first entry to site, you can bring your own alcohol (for consumption on the campsite) up to the personal allowance of EITHER:

• 12 cans of beer/lager/cider
• 2 plastic bottles of wine per person. No spirits are allowed.

Once you have been wristbanded, you will not be able to bring in any additional alcohol.

 

All drinks have to be sealed on entry to the festival.

 

There is no set limit on soft drinks or food.

Yes, the swimming lake will be open from 09:00 till 20:00 Friday through Sunday (13:00 start on Thursday) – bring swimwear!

 

The boating lake will also be open for activities from 09:00 until 22:00 Friday through Sunday (13:00 start on Thursday).

Yes, festival goers can leave the site at any time but you will only be allowed back in between 10:00 and 21:30 each day.

 

There will be ATMs on the site but we would recommend festival goers to still bring cash for the weekend to avoid queueing.

There is a bike lock up point situated onsite, although security are stationed within the vicinity. Bikes are left at owners' risk, please bring double locks for your bikes, just as you would elsewhere.

 

We Out Here is held at Wimborne St Giles, Dorset. It's easily accessible by train (1 hour 20 minutes from London Waterloo), and they will have regular Train Transfers available to purchase. They also run carbon-offset Coach Travel options via Tuned in Travel.

 

We Out Here Festival will be partnered with Tuned In Travel again to offer green travel options to the festival. 

 

The nearest station to We Out Here is Salisbury.

Shuttle buses will be running to and from site on Thursday, Friday and Monday to ensure your journey is as stress-free as possible. More info to come.

All customers driving to site are requested to purchase a car parking pass per car in advance of travelling. Please ensure you have selected the appropriate parking area for the campsite you intend to stay in.

Anyone driving with spare seats to offer out, or anyone looking to jump in someone’s spare seat, please register interest with Liftshare. If you are driving to the festival please come with a full car!

If you are at all capable of travelling by train or via one of the coaches we are running please consider doing this rather than driving.

You can buy a parking pass in advance on the ticket page. Make sure to book the appropriate parking for the campsite you intend to stay in!

 

The car park will be open 24 hours from 12:00 on Thursday 10th till close at 12:00 on Monday 14th.

 

The car park is part of the festival site and all festival policy & terms and conditions apply to the car parks also.

 

The car park is a part of the festival site! This also means all festival policy applies to the car park.

 

You will have to purchase a 'live in vehicle' pitch in addition to festival tickets for each occupant.

 

Yes, all weekend festival tickets allow access to the standard camping and family camping. The festival also offer a variety of boutique camping options and live-in campsite facilities. These do not include festival tickets so make sure to purchase a standard weekend festival ticket in addition to your camping.

 

Guests can access the campsites as soon as the festival gates are open at 12:00.

 

Festival ticket holders are welcome to organise off site accommodation for themselves and access the festival site on a daily basis between 10:00 – 22:00, except on Thursday where they will be able to access the site from 12:00.

 

Minimising the environmental impact of We Out Here is a core focus for the whole team. Please help keep the land beautiful and this event sustainable by leaving no trace.

The General and Family campsites are side-by-side and just a short walk from the public car park and arena (depending on where you're camped 5 – 20 minutes).

 

The family campsite is suggested as a more child-friendly space, however there are no facilities or parking specific to this campsite.

 

The Live-in campsite is close by General and Family and also only a short walk to the arena. The Live-in campsite is open to powered vehicles or towed trailers with obvious sleeping facilities that require no further infrastructure to be used for the purpose of sleeping (eg. tent). Cars/trucks may be used as towing vehicles, but are not permitted as stand alone 'live-ins''.

 

Facilities for these campsites are shared and will include:

• Toilets – please respect the facilities to help our cleaning teams ensure a pleasant experience for all campers.
• Showers – don't forget your own towels and toiletries!
• Water points – don't forget your reusable water bottles!
• Waste and recycling points – collect, separate and deposit your waste in our recycling points. Keep your campsite clean and leave no trace!
• Staffing and security – festival staff and security will keep an eye on the campsites to help promote a safe, community feel to your temporary home. If you are unsure about anything, talk to them, they are there to help!
• Campsite Hub – festival staff will be available via the Campsite Hub.
• Note that there are no power or water hook ups available in the Live In Campsite.

Whether you're staying in general, family, boutique, live-in or accessible camping, there are a few rules that you are asked to respect to ensure the campsites are a safe and welcoming home for everyone:

• No gas powered cooking stoves over 220g permitted, all stoves must be purpose built and used in designated cooking areas only
• No open fires/BBQs permitted
• No portable speakers/sound systems
• Please keep noise to an absolute minimum in the sleeping areas, especially in the quiet camping and family areas – you may be asked to re-pitch if excessive noise persists
• No gazebos or temporary fencing permitted
• No generators
• All tents must be pitched within the demarcated areas including guy ropes and all fire lanes must be kept clear at all times
• All litter, liquid waste and food waste must be disposed of in the correct areas to ensure hygiene levels are maintained
• Please use toilet and water provisions in a respectful manner to protect the land and maintain high quality living conditions
• All standard entry policies, prohibited items and alcohol limits apply to the campsites and there will be a search operation on arrival to the festival.
• There are further rules specific to the live-in campsite

We've suggested some top tips below to help you and your fellow campers look after yourselves and your belongings:

• Get to know your neighbours. Look out for each other.
• Leave your valuables at home or in our lockers. Not in your tent. Or in your car.
• Don't make it easy for thieves to find your belongings – spread your valuables out rather than keeping them in one bag / pocket.
• Use the on-site lockers.
• Don't carry large amounts of cash. Cash machines are available and bars / traders accept card payments.
• Leave your car glove box empty and open to deter thieves.

If you are concerned about anything, witness, or are victim to a crime or antisocial behaviour, it is important that you report it immediately to festival staff or security. They are there to help. The more information you can give us, the better chance we have of coordinating an efficient and effective response.

In addition to the standard campsite rules and top tips, the below are specific to the live-in campsite:

• No gas powered cooking stoves over 220g permitted – unless integrated into the vehicle
• Please keep noise to an absolute minimum including integrated sound systems and TVs
• No Gazebos, awnings, temporary fencing or tented structures
• All vehicles must be sited in demarcated areas and all fire lanes must be kept clear at all times
• Any cars used to tow caravans/trailers must be parked alongside the 'Live in' and must remain static and switched off for the duration of the festival. If the vehicle is intended to be driven off-site – it must be parked in the public car park (free of charge) passes will be available on arrival.
• Any party intending to depart before 20:00 on Sunday 22nd August must inform campsite management for escort.
• All standard entry policies, prohibited items and alcohol limits apply to live in vehicles and there will be a search operation on arrival.

Unfortunately day ticket holders will not be permitted to camp.

 

Yes, there will be showers available in the campsites for all festival goers. Remember your own towels and toiletries!

Unfortunately not. Any open fires or naked flames are prohibited at We Out Here for safety reasons. There will be no shortage of great hot food over the weekend from our on site stalls.

Gazebos fall under prohibited items and will not be permitted at We Out Here. 

No, please think about your fellow campers and keep noise to a minimum. There will be plenty of music over the weekend!

 

We Out Here strives to be a festival that welcomes everyone. They are happy to be working with Attitude is Everything to help make the show as accessible as possible for all guests, whatever their requirements.

We Out Here is held at Wimborne St Giles, Dorset. The site is a parkland site with varying topography and ground conditions so an all-terrain wheelchair or pushchair will be required.

All routes in and out of venues, campsites, and various areas of the site will be wide enough for wheelchair access, however there are areas of the site with limited access due to slopes and rough ground. Stewards will be available to assist as far as possible.

We are predominantly an open-air event and weather conditions can dramatically affect the ground conditions, so make sure to check the forecast ahead and consider preparations you may need to make and any extra equipment that may be necessary.

Access to site will be via the accessibility parking – arrange for complimentary car parking via accessible@weoutherefestival.com

Accessibility parking will be next to accessible camping and check in with an easy route into the festival for all accessible customers. If you are being dropped off, the accessible car park will also act as a drop off point for customer wishing to check in via accessible check-in.

We Out Here Festival offers the following bookable accessible facilities:

• A complimentary personal assistant ticket
• A car parking space in the accessible car parking
• A space in our accessible campsite, with access to accessible toilets, showers.
• A disabled viewing platform pass (for Main Stage) and 1 for a Personal Assistant.

The festival will have a 24 hour welfare and medical team available to support all customer needs. There will be a fridge available in the medical tent to keep any medication cool for the duration of the festival.

There will be accessible toilets available across the site. Please visit either the Campsite Hub or the Info Point where you can pay a deposit to sign out a RADAR key for the duration of the festival if you don't have one of your own.

 

Approved assistance dogs will be permitted into the site, provided appropriate certification from the owner. Please email for more information.

 

Lowered bars, with large-print menus will be in place.

 

Free drinking water will be available across site from designated water points.

 

Seating is available in different areas across the site.

 

Whilst the site offers plenty of open spaces, it is important to note that crowds may build up in certain areas. For those with mental health, emotional or sensory issues, the sounds, lights, smells and crowds of a festival have the potential to be difficult. Spaces such as Welfare, Info Point or the Accessible Campsite are available as respite.

Accessible camping will be next to accessible parking with an easy route into the festival for all accessible customers. A customer map will be sent out closer to the event.

 

The accessible campsite welcomes tents and live-ins. Group sizes are limited to 6 people. If you are a group larger than 6, you are welcome to use the facilities of the accessible campsite, but will need to camp in the general camping area. If you plan to bring your live-in, please email us so we can ensure we have plenty of space for your requirements. Please note that you will not be able to park your car within the campsite due to H&S regulations.

 

There will be a wheelchair charging point, wheelchair accessible toilet and wheelchair accessible shower available.

 

The accessible campsite is monitored by festival staff to ensure it remains a calm and quiet space where those with access requirements can feel at home and take a break from the festival as needed.

Strobe or lasers may be used at the event. There will be no announcements beforehand.

 

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

The festival offers a complimentary ticket for Personal Assistants (PAs), requiring supporting documentation from the accessible ticket holder in order to issue. Accepted forms of supporting documentation include the below and must show your full name:

If in the unfortunate instance We Out Here 2023 is forced to cancel due to Covid circumstances, all tickets will be eligible for next year. If you are unable to make next year’s dates, we will ensure a face value refund of your ticket. Please see our website terms for our full Covid policy.
