Admission Info

Admission is subject to capacity. Venues and stages do get very busy, and we recommend arriving early in order to stand the best possible chance of getting in to see your favourite acts.


Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Children aged 12 and under will be able to attend the festival for free when in possession of a child ticket. These must be ordered in advance alongside an adult ticket purchase. Under 5s will not require a wristband.

After party venues are strictly 18+. Please see venue profile pages for admissions policies.

You will be required to show ID to prove your age at all sites. Please bring proof of age.

Right of admission is reserved.

Tramlines operates a strict zero tolerance policy to both illegal drugs and 'legal highs'. Nitrous oxide will not be permitted.

Bag searches will be conducted upon entry to all festival sites. We ask all customers to only carry small bags if absolutely necessary. Anyone found to be in possession of banned substances or items will be refused entry and the appropriate legal action will be taken. In this instance, no refunds will be issued.

Festival-goers are permitted to bring 1 x 500ml non-alcoholic drink into the Main Stage arena. Containers must be sealed. Free drinking water is provided on-site.

A wide range of great food will be available to purchase across the city and within the Main Stage arena. Festival-goers are not permitted to bring their own food to the Main Stage or Devonshire green. A small amount of snacks for children or medical issues is permitted.

Festival-goers will not be permitted to bring professional cameras onsite. Standard compact cameras will be permitted for personal use, though festival-goers will not be able to bring in cameras with either interchangeable lenses or a lens longer than 6 inches. Any camera with a removable lens, a zoom 3x or greater, or 10MP cameras will be deemed to be professional cameras and will not be permitted. Professional photographers and videographers must apply for press accreditation prior to the event.

Battery packs for mobile phones will be allowed

No dogs will be allowed into the outdoor stages, except guide dogs.

Please note that performances do contain flashing lights and strobes.
