Arguably the cultural hub of the south, Brighton is no stranger to holding world class music events - the seaside city is alive with more live music and gigs per square mile than most places. It’s only fitting then that once a year it should host a lineup of some of the hottest names in popular music, as Shakedown Festival continues to pull in some blinding headliners.
Previous bill toppers have included Dizzee Rascal, Professor Green, Knife Party, Zane Lowe, Shy FX, Ms Dynamite, and Katy B. Fairly representative of the best in popular dance music, Shakedown Festival is a rare chance to see some of your favourite big acts in the same place, as Waterhall in Brighton gets turned into a massive one day party venue.
Attracting a largely younger cider fueled crowd, the festival is a rowdy celebration of pop culture, a no holds barred rave up in the sunshine that easily rivals other Brighton festivals, providing an exciting alternative for hedonistic retreat.
Disabled Access Information
The Shakedown site is accessible for disabled people. If you are registered as being disabled, your carer can attend the event for free to assist you on the day providing you both bring relevant identification and documentation. Please contact the festival via their website.
