Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival! - Southport

The event should have been cancelled as others have said it was pure greed as they did not want to give refund.I believe we are still owed a refund as the event was delayed until 1.30pm and the main stage was closed at 5.30pm due to the weather. So for me it was not a positive experience as the bands I really wanted to see did not play. Why was there no contingency plan in the event of bad weather like a second marquee? 
I contacted look a like have been told won't get a refund but they are working behind the scenes to get the best resolution and I will receive an email in the coming weeks. Not sure if this will automatically go to everyone like it should I messaged look a like through their Facebook page .

It should have been cancelled 
You let everyone in buying food & drinks but the stage was half a mile away & there were no acts on the main stage from about 3.15 until about 5pm when we left! There was no update & nobody to ask (only security who said they didnât know what was happening). The weather was obviously not your fault but given the state of the park/grass & the forecast for rain all day it should have been cancelled- we can dress accordingly for the weather but did not pay to listen a playlist of random songs - where were the acts/bands on the main stage ??

I wouldn't actually say this event happened. We stood in the rain for nearly 2hrs waiting to get in. Delayed start time. To then find the main stage closed. All the best acts cancelled. Playing music through the speaks not really a festival. Absolutely disgusted no one available on the day to discuss a refund. Fobbed off send an email. The event should have been cancelled. Finished nearly 3 hrs early because no acts to watch. Waste of time. Very disappointed.

Should have been canceled due to the adverse weather conditions there 2 hours saw 10 mins of 1 band disgraceful organisation should be refunded? Not happy .

Worse festival in regards of organization, health and safety. Stage closing. Acts cancelled. Vendors going due to health and safety concerns due to weather. Would never attend this festival event ever

Absolutely appalling that this wasn’t called off nor have we been offered any refund or anything after a disgraceful event.

it was brilliant shame about weather because very waterlogged and muddy actually thought it would be called off

The event was extremely well organised. Queues for bars and toilets were minimal. Security was top notch and entertainment was fantastic 

I had a fab time. 
 The tribute acts were fantastic and known to almost every age group 
 Returning next year 

Fun day with Friends.
Could have benefitted from a more festival feel, in stalls, shops etc, for people to browse and buy. Also  tea and coffee stand would have been welcomed by many. Not everyone drinks alcohol especially on cooler days when driving. It would have been good to have more fun activities for the kids, as there were a lot of them. Fun play area, bouncy castles etc.
Volume was a bit up and down as well. Some of the bands would have benefitted from really loud output.

But overall a good sunday outing.

Really enjoyed the concert Had a wonderful times Fabulous music Felt like my era and was able to sing along dance and generally get involved. Complements to Orlando the security guard who kept us entertained while the stage was being set up between acts.

I thought it was a really fun festival, the only thing that would change my mind about going next time is the lack of food choice and quality. 
There was not enough choice other than fatty and greasy food, i was also shockedat the lack if choice for vegetarians and vegans as my neice eats vegan because of allergies. There was nothing for her to eat accept chips which were horrible, we went to two food vans and the quality of the food was bad. I only ate half on my burger because it was making me feel ill so we had to look for food after the festival was over. 
Think you missed a trick with hot drinks, the weather went very cold and I would have done anything for a hot drink. 

only fault i could find was they should of left the Quern act until last half the crowd left after they performed 

Good fun Sunday but hardly anyone locally knew about this event! I live near the park so found out the day before!! It wasn’t advertised locally which is a shame as it was good entertainment
