Review of Linton Festival 2018
My first visit for the last day principally to see Davy Knowles.
Thoroughly impressed with this well organised and friendly venue. Plenty of food options, great cider and real ale ( and not having to endlessly queue for it), enough toilets, nearby parking and bales of straw to sit on if you havenít brought your own seating (plus cover from the sun)
The sound quality is also good and as the venue isnít rammed thereís plenty of opportunity to get close to the stage.
Would you recommended: Yes
Attended my first even Linton Festival on Fri night and I have to say it was fantastic. Great venue, great music and great people.
Travelled up from Devon to see Kris Barras who unfortunately had to pull out but had a superb night with great music from Travelin Redwing (great cover of Southern Man guys!), Pat The Professor McManus Band (excellent all round as always) and the impressive Think Floyd.
Camping good - the weather always helps - and was sad to leave on Sat morning as i could easily have stayed all weekend.
See you next year!

Fantastic weekend, well supported and great Music, Food and Ale 🎸🕺🏻🍺
A super weekend and you picked the perfect one for the weather.
Amazing Festival Loved It !
We love this festival, always a great weekend of acts along with fair choice of food and line of of real ales. We always camp at the venue and it has never disappoints.
What a beautiful weekend. Excellent music, food, facilities - brilliant value for money . Thanks to everyone who worked to put on such a great festival. Absolutely definitely recommend!
Billy Walton Band were simply awesome,
Excellent venue with brilliant live music & some rather nice ales!! A great friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting! What more could you ask for??
Lovely event with great bands and lots of lovely people
I had the amazing luck to fall in with a bunch of lovely people and had the most fantastic time at this festival.........and I slowly realised it wasn't a case of luck, this is truly one of the friendliest festivals I've ever been to!! I was introduced to some stunning new bands as well as getting reacquainted with more familiar ones and the natural amphitheatre is just glorious. What rain?!
Best festival and brilliant organisation. So friendly, pretty, clean and with a great sound system. Food was great and the acts were superb. Can't wait for next year.
As always, really good weekend, people and staff friendly only down side was Suzi Quattro headlining on Saturday for me.
Mark Stephen Davies
Another great Linton festival, standard of musicianship fantastic.
Lovely setting in the countryside, well organized, delicious tea and cake!, good facilities, toilets etc.
Really good and well organised festival, variety of bands ( for me Friday night was amazing ) the organisers did say camping was basic, I think this could have been better, but I would recommend you give it a visit especially if your a real ale fan, the choice was the best I've seen at a festival. Will definitely
be going again
5th year runing and usually gets 5/5 across the board. This year 'music' only scored 4/5 as they didn't have any of our favourite bands playing headline. ' Venue' got 4/5 due to the heavy rain which I think they could have handled better, splitting and spreading more straw bails around the site, and putting down more mats. Seemed more concerned with conditions backstage, even allowing bands' cars to park on only area of un-mudded grass (under trees). Fortunately never saw anybody seriously hurt, dispite the mix of booze and mud. More than recommend it - love it !
3 days at Linton was fantastic, good bands, good sound, great beers and cider, good food stands, all at a great price, even the weather could not put a dampener on proceedings,
