ION is more than just another festival, it’s an intervention on the electronic music calendar.

For ION, we step into the excitement and promise of the unknown. Taking place in a paradise hidden along the coast of the Ionian Sea, ION delivers a new way of experiencing dance music’s celebrated best. The dramatic, meticulously engineered stages encompass both pristine natural beauty and the hulking shells of industry; the perfect staging to provide DJs and dancers with a week of unforgettable memories.

Building on LWE and Junction 2’s reputation for events that are obsessively professional in organisation and execution, ION is a chance for a limited number of like-minded music lovers to come together, to rave among the ruins and dance under the stars.

Even more though, ION reconceptualises what an overseas festival experience can be, where friends can enjoy cultural, food and wellness events in the glorious summer sun. When the days spent exploring or relaxing are done, the night-time fun beckons guests into new worlds where their favourite electronic artists will play in settings precisely calibrated to immerse them in the moment.

ION takes place over Tuesday the 6th to Wednesday the 13th of September 2023.

ION takes place in Dhërmi, a coastal village on the Albanian Riviera located between the cities of Sarandë and Vlorë.

You can come for the full week Wednesday-Wednesday, from Friday-Monday or anytime in between! There are three arrival days (Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th, Friday 10th September) and three departure days (Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th).
