Great atmosphere and music, despite weather. Drinks far too expensive though!
Great day festival despite the weather. Will do again next year.
Not enough stalls
Johnny Marr was amazing, a little disappointed with the Doves this time. Drinks were a massive rip off, been to loads of these things but this was the most expensive for warm cans of cider.
Good 1st time Festival 👍🏻 Drinks prices were dreadful though! £5.50 for a 330ml can of cider 🤷🏻♀
Well organised though & the rain didn’t dampen people’s spirits
great time had by us all, fantastic acts, shame about the weather.
It absolutely lashed it down with rain but didn’t ruin anything, was well organised, great food stalls, good selection at the bar and even the loos weren’t that bad! The bands were brilliant, highly recommend if held again in the future! 👍🏻
Apart from the weather, a great day!
Loved it and great to see something like this in Birmingham.
Good selection bands, bar service could have been quicker with more payment terminals, staff were serving quickly, but having to wait to take payment.
Atmosphere, music and food/drink was brilliant, staff were all amazing
Good gig, shame it was raining
Shame about the weather but that can't be helped.
Food was good but could potentially have done with a larger selection.
Bar was expensive with little selection.
Sound quality wasn't the best
The event was good overall , the venue was easily accessible and well organised . The facilities considering the amount of attending were good and plenty of food options. The drink choices were somewhat limited and the prices grossly over inflated for what was on offer .
The music was good and the first 3 bands were fantastic . I’m not sure the final act Doves should have been headlining as Johnny Marr was by far the best act of the event and the crowd loved it.
Had a good night, good vibes nice and small so no queues, all the acts smashed it, £5.50 for a can is a rip off but too be expected
The music was absolutely brilliant, every band sounded fantastic, and the actual sound levels were much better (ie. louder) than expected for a relatively small outside arena. So a massive well done to the stage/lighting and sound crew especially considering the weather!
However, the drinks prices at the bar were extortionate, over £5 for a 330ml can of cider? Come off it, that is just ripping fans off.
As for the venue, I was not impressed with Perry Park for a live outside day festival-type set up, it’s not the easiest to get to from out of town, the car parking was poorly marked/sign posted and I know plenty of people who were put off by that. There wasn’t enough variety of food stalls in the arena itself.
I don’t know what the overall crowd capacity was but it felt like it was barely a 3rd full, so either the promoters have struggled to sell tickets or they didn’t put enough on, either way it’s a shame because with the line up they had it should have sold out, and I think the atmosphere inside suffered a bit because it did not feel busy at all. I’m sure most people still enjoyed it, I did and so did the friends I went with, but there definitely would have been a better crowd vibe if there were more people attending.
Great gig...nice to go to a festival and not have to queue for ages to get a drink...(or use a toilet)....great selection of drinks too....loved the cans instead of dodgy pints 👍🏼
