HogSozzle Music Festival Tickets

Friday 25th - Sunday 27th May 2018

Frogmore Hill in Stevenage

Minimum age: 18

No tickets available at present for HogSozzle Music Festival through Skiddle.

Event Times

The ticket booth will be open for most of the day, but make sure you arrive between the times listed below, as we won’t be able to let you in before or after. The gate is very stubborn and refuses entry to overly eager early birds and dawdlers…

Friday: 12pm - 9pm
Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm

All guests must leave the campsite by 12pm on Monday 29th May.

What are the key things to bring?

Please ensure you have a printed version or screenshot your ticket (signal is terrible on-site so don’t trust that you’ll have internet). Tickets will be scanned upon arrival.

If you’re camping remember to bring a tent, sleeping bag and warm clothing. You are also more than welcome to bring food for the campsite. (No BBQ’s, camping stoves or fires allowed).

What should I bring to wear?

Remember to bring warm clothes for late night partying and blankets to wrap up in!

Keep an eye out for an email about the weather before you leave, so you know whether to bring sun cream or wellies… or both! Waterproofs are always advisable and groundsheets could be useful for sitting down if the ground is damp.

If you’d like to get involved with the BiG PiG Paint Fight, ensure you bring goggles and white clothes or overalls that you don’t mind getting colourful!

Also get rummaging in your fancy dress box…this year’s theme will be announced in the Spring!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

You are more than welcome to bring your own booze for the campsite on one occasion only.  There is a strict no glass and spirits policy. So cans and plastic bottles only please!  You will not be allowed to bring your own booze inside the main arena.

Maximum amount of alcohol per person:

7L (16 cans) cans of cider, beer or similar strength drink OR 3.5l of wine.

Can I buy food and drinks on-site?

Nobody likes a warm beer, but luckily your refreshment needs have been covered with an on-site bar serving ice cold drinks throughout the day and night.

We will have a series of good value and oh so delicious food vendors ready to tantalise your tastebuds!

Free Hog Roast for all will be served on Saturday.  A vegetarian option will also be available.

Is there a cash point on site?

No, but alcohol tokens can be purchased using a debit card.

Tickets purchased on the door is cash only.

What does the paint fight involve and what do I need to participate?

With the return of the legendary HogSozzle paint fight it is important that EVERYBODY who wants to take part brings a white outfit. The colours are not dangerous but may stain your clothes. To protect your eyes and lungs you can wear something to protect your eyes or cover your mouth, with a t-shirt for example.  Please read below for full details.

This year’s paint fight is going to be bigger, brighter, and better than ever before and you don’t want to miss out. Take a look at the video to check out the multi-coloured carnage of last year.

Hogsozzle only use ‘Throwing Powder’ designed for the purpose of events and festivals. The coloured powder is made from non-toxic materials and is a cosmetic product on the approved list of ingredients for cosmetic applications.

As always, anyone who participates in the Paint Fight is strongly advised to wear eye protection and dust masks to protect your eyes and your lungs. Dust masks will be provided free of charge before the Paint Fight. Anyone who participates in the Paint Fight without wearing eye protection and a dust mask does so at their own risk. Hogsozzle accepts no liability in the event that these items are not worn as advised.

Eye wash stations and first aiders will be available in the unlikely event they are needed.

Those with allergies or sensitivities are advised not to participate. Whilst our paint is non-toxic, there is always a small risk of irritance which can’t be avoided.

Everyone in the Paint Fight should wear all white for a ridiculous colour contrast! The paint can usually be washed out of clothes but colour cast cannot be excluded. The sooner you wash your clothes the better and a colour catcher in the washing machine should help, but you should not wear any of your favourite clothes or clothes which you mind being potentially damaged or ruined. Hogsozzle will not be responsible for any stains or damage caused to clothing or other items such as accessories or vehicles. You are advised to cover car seats with towels if wearing paint covered clothing in your vehicle.

Are campervans allowed?

A very limited number of caravan tickets are available online for £20. Campervan space is segregated from the main camping arena and whilst awnings are allowed, no additional tents will be allowed in the Campervan field.
