Can I bring alcohol into the campsite?
Yes you can but no glass bottles and only bring a sensible amount per person- there’s no need to bring the stock of a bar with you!
Is there car parking?
Yes there is a carpark which costs £10 that you pay in cash on arrival.
Can I bring my campervan?
All patrons wishing to sleep in a camper van will require a camping ticket and there will be the standard £10 parking fee to leave the van in the carpark over the course of the event. Please email email@example.com with name, contact number and vehicle registration.
Are there cash machines on site?
There are no cash machines or cash back facilities on site so make sure you bring enough money to last the duration of your stay.
Do I have to bring ID?
Yes! In Scotland challenge 25 is in place. This means that if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be challenged for photographic ID before you purchase alcohol.
Are there age restrictions?
This is an over 18 only festival. You must bring photographic ID to prove your age.
Are there bus services from Inverness?
Yes there is a shuttle bus service from the Inverness bus station to the festival run by D&E coaches. Full details and timetable will be on travel page closer to the festival.
How much does the bus service cost?
It’s £10 for a return journey.
Do you have to book the bus services from Inverness?
Yes you can book them in advance from the ironworks venue and the bus station. However, you can buy them on the day as well.
Is there somewhere I can be dropped off and picked up?
Yes there is a dedicated drop off and pick up point which will be clearly signposted upon arrival.
Are there taxis to and from the festival?
There are taxi ranks throughout Inverness city centre and there will be a dedicated taxi rank at the festival.
Can I camp in the surrounding area?
No, there is a Highland Council camping exclusion zone in place around Dores beach and surrounding areas of the festival. There will be security monitoring these areas and if you are found camping you will be asked to move along.

Can you scan my e-ticket from my phone?
Yes we can. However, if your phone signal is poor and you can’t access it then we can’t let you in! We advise that you print you e-ticket out to avoid that situation.
Are legal highs allowed?
No drugs or ‘legal highs’ other than prescription drugs are allowed at the festival. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. Police officers will be on site and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. If you engage in the unlawful supply of drugs, it is likely that you will be arrested. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable to eviction from the site.

2017 Deposit Scheme:
If you have purchased ticket(s) under the deposit scheme, the following terms apply:
* The initial payment includes the total booking fee immediately (our system calculates this for you).
* A single final instalment is due by 1700 on 31st July 2017 with no extra booking fees, either online via skiddle.com/orders or by calling 03333 010101.
* If the total balance is not received by Skiddle by the deadline, you forfeit all the payments you have made and the tickets will be voided. Under no circumstances will the festival accept balance payments after the 31st July deadline - it is your responsibility to ensure you have made payment before this date.
* You cannot pay the balance at the gate - if you arrive at the gate with only a receipt for a part paid ticket, you will not be allowed entry.
* Please make sure your email address is correct, as we will remind you via email before the deadline if you have a balance outstanding.
* You will receive a receipt for your deposit and balancing payment but you will only receive the full barcoded ticket once the whole value of the ticket/s has been paid.
* The deposit and balance owed can only be paid by credit/debit card; you do not have to use the same credit/debit card for all transactions (if using a different card, please call us to process).
* The deposit and associated fees are non-refundable and no claim can be made to recover this money whatsoever.
* These terms and conditions for the the deposit scheme are in addition to the standard Groove Loch Ness and Skiddle.com terms and conditions which you agree to at the time of purchase.

TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE: GROOVE FESTIVAL 2017
Your ticket is valid for one person only. You are advised to check your ticket upon receipt. Please read terms and conditions at www.groovefestival.co.uk as your purchase of a ticket signifies your agreement to these.
No tickets will be refunded unless the event is completely cancelled in which case only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. Tickets are for the festival and not for one specific artiste. The promoter will use their best endeavours to present the line-up as advertised, but the line-up of artistes cannot be guaranteed. Should one or more artistes cancel, the festival will go ahead as normal. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances. Purchase of this ticket and/or its presentation at the event signifies your agreement to the following terms and conditions set by the promoter (Groove Festival LLP, “the promoter”):
Festival venue: encompasses car parks, campsites, arenas and any other areas of Clune Farm.
Strictly over 18s: the promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without accepted ID. Original photo-ID with proof of age will be required for persons claiming to be over 18 by box office, tokens office, security, stewarding and bar staff who all have the right to challenge age claims where they believe the claim being made is questionable
Right of admission reserved: the promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to or to eject ticket-holders from the festival venue without a refund.
Aggressive or anti-social behaviour: will be met with a zero-tolerance policy and immediate ejection.
Lost, stolen or incomplete hard tickets: admission will not be allowed to persons without ticket and stub (joined) in the case of hard tickets, or to a person presenting a ticket that has already been scanned in the case of e-tickets, or to persons whose tickets have been lost or stolen; keep tickets safe – treat them like cash.
Lost or altered wristbands: attendance without the relevant wristband issued by the event is not allowed and will result in ejection; wristbands that have been tampered with or removed will be declared invalid and lost wristbands will not be replaced.
Glass, dangerous objects, fireworks, animals, illegal substances and legal highs: none of these are permitted at the festival venue and will be confiscated; use of fireworks will result in immediate ejection; animals will be impounded at owner’s expense; patrons’ clothing and bags will be searched at gates.
Alcohol: no alcohol may be brought into the arenas from campsites; patrons’ clothing and bags will be searched at gates into campsites and arenas.
Drugs: No drugs or ‘legal highs’ other than prescription drugs are allowed at the festival. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. Camp site curfew and vehicles: movement between camp sites and car parks will be restricted between 1200 and 0800 with no re-entry to camp sites before 0800; no driving of vehicles will be permitted in the tented camp sites; no sleeping in vehicles in car parks is allowed.
Clothing & equipment: this is an outdoor event; it is your responsibility to be prepared for all weather conditions and to bring appropriate clothing and camping gear.
Fires: no fires will be permitted in camp sites or car parks; safe use of BBQs and camping cookers will be permitted
Amplified music: will not be permitted between 2300 and 0800 in camp sites.
Filming: you consent to appearance in film and sound recordings of the event as a member of the audience
Disclaimers: you use the festival venue at your own risk; the promoter shall disclaim liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the promoter, its servants or agents or any person whilst entering or leaving the festival venue; the promoter shall disclaim liability for death, injury, disease or loss caused to any person or to his servant or agent at the festival venue; the promoter shall disclaim liability for any loss, damage or theft to property including vehicles at the festival venue; the promoter shall disclaim liability for any inaccuracies in any information published with regard to the event.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of dispute.
