GemFest FAQs

GemFest, the latest project from Wales’ largest dance music label, PullUp Recordings, lands in Herefordshire again in 2025.

GemFest takes place Friday 13th - Sunday 15th June 2025.

GemFest is held at Charlton Park Estate, Malmesbury, SN16 9LL. Straight off the M4, just 15 minutes from Junction 17.

GemFest is a strictly over 18's event. All attendees are ID'ed upon entry.

Your name on your ticket must also match your ID. Acceptable ID can be either Passport, Driving License or ID card bearing the PASS hologram.

Yes, this is absolutely fine! You can leave at anytime but this must be by Car or Shuttle Bus (within shuttle bus operating hours). Walking is strictly forbidden due to the highway that runs outside of the event site. You will be given a wristband that will be used for re-entry, you cannot bring any alcohol in upon re-entry and you will be subject to a search again. The gates will re-open at 10am on Saturday 14th June.

The site needs to be vacated by midday on Monday 16th June. Please make sure you are all packed up and on your way home by then.

Guests at Gemfest can arrive on Friday 13th June and start queuing at 11am. Gates will open at 12pm and the music will start at 2pm. On Saturday 14th June and Sunday 15th June, the gates will open at 12pm and the music will start at the same time.

Last entry on the Friday and Saturday is 8pm, and on the Sunday is 6pm.

Please pack accordingly, bring all necessary provision (within reason and bearing in mind the entry conditions and restricted items).

Only bring what you can afford to lose and what you can carry from the gates to your campsite. Work out what you're sleeping in and what you will need to keep warm and dry and only bring what you think you will need for the weekend. And please, please, please only bring things that you are going to take home with you.

GemFest have loads of food stalls and bars throughout the festival so there is no need to rely on pot noodles and cold beans for the whole weekend!

Please do not bring any of the following items to GemFest:

Knives (including locking knives), Large sound systems, Glass bottles (excluding make-up and perfume), Fireworks, Explosives, BBQs, Smoke and gas canisters, Air horns. Flares, Weapons or potential weapons, Laser devices, Unofficial drones and UAVs, Sky lanterns, Paraffin lamps, Candles, Generators, Chemical toilets (except where fixed within live in vehicles), Unofficial hi-visibility clothing/tabards, Open bottles of any kind of liquid that can be consumed, E-scooters.

Open fires, BBQs and candle flares are strictly forbidden for safety reasons.

As with all festivals, towns and cities across the country, UK law applies. Do not bring drugs into the festival, they will be confiscated and you run the risk of being prosecuted.

You are welcome to bring your own food to GemFest. Ensure you can store it safely.

GemFest weekend ticket holders may bring up to 10 x 440ml cans of lager/cider/beer OR 12 x 250ml cans of premix spirit drinks OR a 3-litre box of wine OR 4 litres of cider/lager/beer in plastic bottles or cans.

Understandably, no glass is allowed on site and will be confiscated at point of entry. Unopened plastic bottles are allowed, but if the seal is broken these will also be confiscated at the gates as we cannot allow unidentifiable substances onto the festival site. No re-entry with alcohol also applies.

Day ticket holders cannot bring any alcohol in, and will need to make use of the on-site bars instead.

To bring your medication with you, just bring a copy of your prescription, put all the medication together in its original packaging in a clear plastic bag with your name (that matches your ID and the name on your ticket) and contact number clearly marked on it.

Please make sure you only bring enough for the period of your stay and make sure you keep it safe or with you at all times.
