Loved it deffo go next year
What a great day and evening! Really well organised, friendly atmosphere and loads of choices for activities and refreshments for all ages! I would have paid a set fee for a wristband for the kids to go on the rides - better than handing over cash all the time !
Excellent family friendly atmosphere. I would prefer to pay for a child's ticket than to pay for individual rides. More toilets would be helpful too
Fantastic well organised. Bands were good just wish the rides were a little cheaper. Maybe do a band and kids can go on as many times as they like
Had a great time venue not too big or too small, easy to get around and view of the stage was great, toilets well equipped, catering stalls were very good with a varied choice of food.. great atmosphere for all the family..
Fabulous Family Day Out.....something for everyone! ....roll on next year!!
Great family event,
Gemma Tye Matthews
Absolutely Amazing! The Elvis act on the Sunday was absolutely phenomenal, along with the Stone Roses & Oasis! Prices were good for the food and drinks. Couldn't of been any better. Definately go back again!
Brilliant two days, well organised, great bars, stalls, food choices. A different vibe each day and the bands were excellent. Definitely be going again next year. Xxx
A fantastic event, plenty for all the family to enjoy. We loved it and are looking forward to Cheshire Fest 2018 already!
Utterly fabulous day out. Gutted to leave!!
A brilliant family event, thank you
Great fun for all the fanily. A good day out. Well worth the money.
Loved it ! Can't wait for next one !
Really enjoyed having a local daytime festival to go to. Whole event was quite chilled out and queues not too long, including for the toilets which was a bonus. However a couple of things could definitely be improved:
- Gin was sooooo expensive!
- Music was OK - in places. Enjoyed Sheerhan tribute, Michael Jackson tribute and Take That tribute. Also enjoyed the music played by the DJs. So far so good. ... But there was a long period in the afternoon after Michael Jackson tribute (on the Sat) when the stage was occupied by a load of children dancing! Really?! Is this the best that could be done to fill the time? It would have been much better (and I don't really know why this didn't happen as this event was the perfect opportunity for it) if locals bands/singers had been asked to play for a while. It would have been really good to see and encourage local musical talent and give them a stage to show what they could do. This would be so much better than loads of kids on the stage dancing! Surely there's enough talent in Stockport/Manchester to see some of it at an event like this??
Very well organised family event, tribute acts were very talented, lots of thought put into keeping kids entertained including kids tent, comiccon people, disney characters, fairground rides, delicious local food and cask ales on offer, voice kids and local acts performing in between acts as well as a DJ. Clean toilets, not much queuing for anything, reasonable priced tickets including free drink and kids under 16 went free, some stalls with festival headware and a glitter station. Could not fault the event, even the weather stayed dry. Not a huge amount of parking on site so we parked considerately in the local area.
Loved it! Would definitely go again and think it's something that could get better each year. Enjoyable for the whole family.
The event was good , was concerned over the security we did not get searched at all , people had large bags that were not searched either , people took on their own alcohol too, the DJ could be more interactive with the crowd to create an atmosphere , too long between acts - bit of a lull so we left earlier than planned
Great family day out.
