Review of Blackthorn Music Festival
Absolutely amazing vibe at this festival! Would def recommend it to all my friends. Also great to have the artist walk around at the festival before and after their set. Def worth coming over from belgium!

Brilliant festival! I really hope that it gets some more advertising and press as I live down the road and had never heard of it until someone told me about it. Really good set up with lots of seating and undercover main stage and bar if it rains, good toilet facilities. Lots of space and areas to chill out. Drinks are £4 and operate on a token system, which you can buy on a card but food sales were cash only. I wish the organisers put some more information like this on the website as there is virtually no info to tell you about whats there and what you can/can't bring. And they also need to either put up some lights or advise people to bring a torch to walk out of the festival as it's pitch black and potentially dangerous having a few thousand drunk people walk along a river. But it was a great day and will definitely be going back!
good mix of large and small bands . Pete Doherty was rubbish and did the shortest set of the weekend full stop pretty much everyone else was great . the bar was very good and well stocked prices for pound a pint. Food choice was limited with only about half a dozen caterers. Access to the site is limited you would have to drive up to the site and drop your camping gear with someone then go back as there is no on-site parking. There is a car park in a field about a mile away which they charge £10 for the weekend and a shuttle bus alias taxi which charge £2 to take you up to the site . quite a few unaccompanied teenagers who were very noisy at night . but overall A good experience was very relaxing and would go again . organisers could do with putting some more info on their website about accessing the site and how to get your camping gear in and out .
This is a great Fesitval.Great Music, Great Atmosphere , beautiful surroundings. Perfect
Great little festival. Lots of teenagers. Fab loos. Needs a bit more going on and some more bands that aren't tributes.
Love the mix of old and new, always come away with a new favourite band.
Great weekend, amazing friendly staff, great music food and utilities, good for families to
As usual, this was a top notch event. Great atmosphere, good for kids, great bands and facilities and low prices (some beers are cheaper than pub prices).
Blackthorn is a lively friendly festival with some very good up and coming bands. Great camping facilities and some good food stalls. The only thing that lets it down is its not advertised enough and whoever looks after their social media sites needs tge boit diesnt even know how to tag bands or use ghe h**htag!# This is my fourth year and I love it.
Great festival from start to finish - more music than you can get your ears around, lovely vibe, beautiful location and good facilities. Will be back next year.
Great weekend with good bands and a very friendly atmosphere! Toilets and showers cleaner than my own!
Superb festival, great family friendly venue. Been twice now and 100% going back next year
Brilliant! Great staff , venue and bands . Have attended the last 2 years, one thing I would say though is some sort of temporary lighting is needed for walking out of the festival back to the main road, that road is pitch black and doesn't feel safe at all at nighttime, especially right next to the lake
