FAQs

Will I need to bring ID?
Yes, we will be running a challenge 25 policy, so you will be asked for a photo driving license or a passport. You will also be asked if accompanying anyone aged 15 or under.

What time will it start?
Big Day Out 2018 will run from 11:00 – 22:00​

Can I leave and come back?
Re-entry is permitted, however last entry is 20:00 and you will have queue and be searched again upon re-entering the site

Can I bring alcohol?
No, however alcohol will be available to purchase at all bars.

Can I bring food?
Yes, picnic are permitted on site. There will also be food available for purchase on site.

Will there be baby changing facilities?
Yes, baby changing facilities will be available around the site.

Can I bring a chair?
Camping chairs are permitted on site, although there will be many seating areas inside the venue.

Will there be cash machines on site?
No but cashback will be available from the main bar.

Can I use card?
Cards can be used on the Main Bar only.

Can I take a camera?
Yes, however photos or footage cannot be used for commercial use.

Is there a line-up schedule?
Line-up schedule will be announced prior to the show.

Terms & Conditions

​All attendants of Big Day Out must have a ticket, regardless of age.

Anyone aged 15 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18).

All adults that are accompanying children must present ID at the entrance (Challenge 25).

You can buy your friends and family tickets, however each ticket has a unique barcode and once this is scanned to gain entry into the event, the barcode will then become invalid.

Please be wary of ticket touts and only purchase tickets from trusted sources.

You must either print your tickets or present them on your smartphone in order for us to scan your bar codes at the entrance.

Please contact your ticket provider for all ticket queries including lost e-tickets.

Proof of age will be required at all bars when purchasing alcohol and we reserve the right to ask for ID at any point during the day.

Valid forms of identification are photo driving licenses, passports & citizen cards only.

We reserve the right to refuse admission, re-admission or eject you from Big Day Out 2018 at any time.

Last entry is at 19:00.

Picnics are permitted onto site this year, however alcohol will have to be purchased at the bars because it is not permitted onto site in ANY quantity. There will be plenty of food and drink outlets inside the event.

Fires and BBQ’s are not permitted into Big Day Out 2018.

There will be a 100% bag search policy when arriving to Big Day Out 2018 with a bag.

Registered guide/assistance dogs are allowed on site, no other animals are permitted.

Visitors are to cooperate with any instructions or directions given by event stewards.

Visitors are not to behave in any obscene or offensive manner. They will be ejected immediately.

Parents should be mindful about bringing hearing protection for their children.

Camping chairs or any other seating will not be permitted on site, there will be many seating areas inside the venue. If, for medical reasons you require to bring a seat, please email info@bigdayoutfestival.com with proof of disability.

Illegal substances, drugs and/or legal highs will not be tolerated at Big Day Out 2018. Searches will be in operation and anyone found with any sort of substances will be ejected from the event and handed over to the police.

The taking of photos and footage for commercial use is prohibited unless permission is granted by the event organisers.

By purchasing a ticket, you are automatically agreeing to our photographer/videographer taking photos and use using them on our social media accounts

The event management team reserve the right to alter the advertised event programme at any time.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions
