There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Its more than likely a safe bet to assume that pretty much every person that attends a Xander & The Peace Pirates gig leaves with the belief that this was one of the best gigs they have ever witnessed. And if mass chanting after every song was anything to go by, this band should be leading the music charts and headlining festivals across the UK.
Xander & the peace Pirates are one of the most energetic, entertaining and musically competent bands around today. The Pirates have perfected their performances and there music to such a standard they sound as good live as they do recorded.
They have shared the stage with legends Buddy Guy, Eric Bibb, Richie Kotzen, San Brown, The Fabulous Thunderbirds & The James Taylor Quartet and are resident band in the world famous Cavern Pub, Liverpool.
The Pirates are featured alongside Keith Richards, Steve ‘The colonel’ Cropper (Booker T and The MG’s) Jeff Beck and Albert Lee in a documentary on the history of Leo Fender’s Telecaster guitar called ‘Original Twang’ released in August 2010.
Guitarist and singer Keith ‘The One-Armed Wonder’ Xander is, without a doubt, Liverpool’s answer to Stevie Ray Vaughan. He is joined on stage by his brother Stuart, bass guitarist and vocalist John Bird and drummer Jake Woodward. Drawing influences from Hendrix, John Mayer, Jeff Back, Lenny Kravitz and Prince, the band is an eclectic mix of guitar lead blues-rock with whispers or Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones.
With over 100 thousand views on You Tube, thousands more hits on MySpace and Facebook, a large fan base around the UK and Ireland, good looks and relentless talent, Xander and the Peace Pirates will continue to wow audiences with every show, so cast your anchors and watch this space.
