Northerner FLISS is a musician and songwriter combining RnB, Hazy Soul and a drop of pop to create her chilled out, hypnotic sound. After studying music at college & university, releasing soundcloud demos, and constantly writing on the side, it wasn’t till 2019 till the time was right for FLISS to take centre stage on her own project. The Chester born-musician currently resides in Manchester as she crafts her upcoming EP ‘Time & Love and light and calm’ as a soothing introduction to her ethereal music style - (heard already in her recent debut single ‘Mxxnlight’.)
Her versatility in taste from Amy Winehouse to Dire Straits is heard in the fusion of blunt lyrics, sweet harmonies and an unapologetic attitude, which has seen her play gigs for the likes of Topshop and HitsRadioUK before she had even released a song.. As she continues to collaborate with locals The Mouse Outfit, Yussuf Maleem and Pitch92(high focus records) on her upcoming EP there’s a lot more to discover.
