Skiddle guarantee that we have the lowest booking fees available for ButeFest tickets. We are an official primary ticket outlet and all tickets are processed and dispatched by Skiddle direct to you. All our tickets are sold at face value and originate directly from the event organiser.
a. The ButeFest Terms & Conditions (T&C’s) should be read together with our ticketing agent Skiddle T&C’s as well as any regulations which may apply. You can obtain Skiddle’s T&C’s from the point of purchase at www.skiddle.com.
b. The promoter reserves the right to alter or vary the programme of an event without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets
c. NO trading within the festival without prior approval from the ButeFest committee.
d. No unauthorized event logos, merchandise. Any unauthorized professional recording equipment will be confiscated.
e. You give your expressed consent to your actual/simulated likeness to be included at no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at anytime. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or prevention of crime.
f. No unauthorized vehicles allowed on site.
Refunds and exchanges
a. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled.
b. Booking fees, SMS charges, Admin or Phone Order surcharges are non-refundable.
c. Delivery/Handling fees will only be refunded where the delivery or handling service has not already been fulfilled
d. Refunds will be issued only to the original purchaser or to the original credit card used for the purchase
e. If an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered tickets at any rescheduled event (subject to availability) up to the face value of the tickets or, if the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled event or the event is not rescheduled, a refund of the face value of the ticket. **This only applies if you have purchased your ticket via Skiddle.com**
g. Requests for refunds covered by clause ‘e’ will be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of the cancelled event. We cannot accept refund requests after this time.

Tickets and Wristbands
a. Tickets and wristbands remain the property of ButeFest until 12noon the day after the last day of the event.
b. You must retain your ticket and wristband on your person at all times during the event. Failure to do so may result in you being removed from the grounds.
c. Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at a specified wristband exchange. No re-admission on tickets.
d. Tickets and wristbands will not be re-issued.
e. Tickets must be valid, presented in full and not tampered with. Unauthorized or tampered with tickets will not be valid.
a. ButeFest reserves the right to remove customers from the event without a refund, and/or refused admission.
b. You may be bag/body searched at the entrances & exits or whilst onsite.
c. Any illegal item(s) or items deemed dangerous or may cause offence or disruption must be surrendered to staff.
d. Any person carrying out illegal activity or in possession of illegal item(s) will be turned over to the policy and refused entry.
e. Anti-social behaviour may lead to eviction from site.
f. Throwing of gas canisters is prohibited and will result in you being evicted from site.
g. You must comply with any and all instructions given to you by us, venue and/or event staff and stewards.
You agree that ButeFest will not be liable for loss, stolen or damaged to any person (Including yourself) or property however caused. (Including by us.): (a) in any circumstances where there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed by Us; (b) in circumstances where such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach (save for death or personal injury resulting from Our negligence); or (c) to the extent that any increase in any loss or damage results from breach by You of any of these Terms and Conditions.
a. Portable campfires, un- elevated stoves, disposable BBQ’s, fireworks, flares, air horns, glass, illegal drugs, lasers, megaphones, Nitrous Oxide, legal highs, sound systems and spray cans.
Banned from camping areas
b. Generators, unless affixed to a campervan.
c. No personal campfires. No disposable BBQ’s.
Banned in marquees and enclosed spaces
d. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes
a. It is illegal for a person(s) over the age of 18 to purchase alcohol for person(s) under 18.
b. It is illegal for person(s) under 18 to bring and/or purchase alcohol onsite.
Fire and Safety
a. Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing.
b. In an Emergency please contact the nearest member of security or steward for help.
While we don't encourage dogs, well behaved dogs kept on a lead will be welcome.
No alcoholic drinks or open beverages are permitted into the main staging area. Sealed, unopened or empty bottles of soft drinks are permitted.
a. No under 16’s are allowed onsite unaccompanied.
b. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an over 18.
Due to the location of the event disability access will be available but limited. Please contact ButeFest in advance if you have any specific requirements.
While ButeFest is easily accessible by train and ferry, limited parking will also be available adjacent to the site for those who choose to drive.
This is an outdoor event. You are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against unpredictable Scottish weather.
ButeFest will be taking place on the Isle of Bute. Ferry travel is required. Ferry tickets can be purchased at www.calmac.co.uk. Directions to ButeFest can be found on our website www.butefest.co.uk .
