In celebration of their second EP release (The Mondegreen),
Asher Hoang presents... Yuppie Supper!
Yuppie Supper is alternative in the classic sense and unashamedly artsy about it. They make music fitting somewhere in between alt-rock, noise rock, emo, and post-punk, scrapbooking songs out of choppy verses and brazen distorted choruses about not getting enough, wanting something more, and the end of the world. FFO Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, Sonic Youth, My Chemical Romance, and probably something else you like.
Joining Yuppie Supper for the evening are Garden of Humans, Lavender Gray, and Dandelion!
Leeds based and Chilean born, Garden of Humans brings forward daring vocals that entice with hidden vulnerability, within gripping and punchy riffs, eager to be heard by people who are eager to be understood. For listeners of Queens of the Stone Age and Paramore.
Lavender Gray is a queer punk band born and raised in the North, emerging from rebellion and the unapologetic nostalgia of the early 2000s. With anthemic vocals and a 'say it how it is' attitude, The band embrace both vulnerability and strength, channeling resistance in every performance.
Dandelion are a four-piece alt-rock/grunge band from Leeds, blending the raw intensity of 90s grunge bands like Nirvana and an emotionally charged lyrics of contemporaries Wunderhorse. Known for their cathartic live shows, Dandelion carve out a sound that's both familiar and fiercely their own. With a debut EP on the way, Dandelion are quickly becoming a band to watch.
