With so many student mouths to feed, Leeds is a city that’s saturated with eateries to suit all budgets. Here are a few places where you can line your stomach without busting your budget.
Housed in a converted library (hence the name – clever eh?), this student haunt is a stone’s throw away from the University and offers great quality meals at student friendly prices. Make sure you get there for Wing Wednesdays where you can get a bucket of chicken wings at 25p a shout - bargain.

One of Leeds' most unique eateries - The Dock has bags of character due to it actually being a converted boat (yes, a BOAT) stranded on a grass hill opposite Leeds Metropolitan University. Like The Library, Dry Dock is also a Scream pub, so expect affordable prices and a buzzing atmosphere whilst you dine.

Drawing Room at Oulton Hall
It’s not exactly a restaurant, but we just couldn’t resist including this utterly charming tea room and café, located inside a magnificent 18th century mansion with breathtaking gardens. Play Lord or Lady of the Manor for one wistful afternoon, with afternoon tea served by your own butler in the Grade II listed hall.
