Glasgow Student Eating Out Guide

Glasgow is packed with eateries from all corners of the world, with plenty of student haunts serving up food away from the infamous beans on toast combo. With restaurants, bars and cafes around every corner and along every main drag, the choice can be overwhelming. Here are some of our favourites:

For perhaps the best sandwich in Scotland, McCune Smith Cafe on Duke Street is where you want to be. If authentic Asian flavours are more your thing, Indian street food has never tasted better than at Babu Bombay Street Kitchen where a snack or meal will only set you back between £2.50 - £6, whilst some of the best burgers in the city can be found at Bread Meats Bread on St. Vincent Street.

You'll find a full list of our Glasgow restaurants here - and you can get great offers when you book online. Freshers can even search for special discounted rates including two for one deals on meals, or even free wine with your meal to veer you away from the notorious 2 litres of cider.
