Coventry Student Nightlife Guide

Coventry is a city of many surprises. From its industrial past, Coventry has developed into an exciting, multicultural city that offers students (and everyone else) great nightlife and lots of entertainment.

From the outside, Coventry often gets a bad reputation as being a relatively boring city with not much to offer. In fact, this couldn't be further from the truth - Coventry is a friendly and welcoming place with a busy nightlife scene and a lot going on throughout the year. Alongside the popular bars and clubs in town, Coventry's famous for its music scene, which regularly attracts many big names - local heroes The Specials were hugely influential in the development of ska, and now there's a rich musical heritage for students to get involved in.

Coventry is also great for shopping lovers - it's got an excellent array of shops that cater to all tastes. No matter what you're looking for - from second-hand CDs to designer brands - you'll find it in Coventry.

In terms of food, there are plenty of cheap eats dotted around town for those on a budget. There are also some excellent restaurants, especially if you're looking for Chinese or Indian cuisine.

What's more, Coventry's easily accessible from London by train or coach, making it really easy to get to from home. It's well worth checking out if you want a fantastic student experience close to home...
