VALAFAR are a group of 5 talented musicians from Bradford, West Yorkshire who write and perform their own brand of Dark/Death Metal

All the members of Valafar have been playing in bands for years, Trudging the boards at many a sticky metal venue. About a year ago 3 former bandmates got together to jam as a death metal band. Having a mixed love of doom, death and black metal they decided that what they were doing sounded pretty damn fine.

Ryan (Bass) joined his former band members Wayne (Vocals) and Neil (Guitars), instantly fitting in well with his old amigos from Bradford metal band The Aftermath.

Along with Ben (Drums), Valafar started to sound pretty good. Then along came the youth that holds this aged Satanic soup together. Kyle Moon (Guitar) finished Valafar off very nicely indeed and that is where Valafar are today.

They don't do fancy bull shit, Just Heavy as f**k Death metal.
