Biography

Formed from the ashes of Shitdisco and Divorce, Glasgow duo Ubre Blanca released their second EP Terminal Island on November 3rd. The release sees Remember Remember drummer Andy Brown and former Shitdisco man Joel Stone build the 80s-inspired synths-and-drums sound found on their debut EP Polygon Mountain, which received a four-star review from The Skinny.

Brown says “On Polygon Mountain we were taking cues from science fiction and space disco, with Terminal Island we’ve instead attempted to capture the drug-fuelled aggression, tension and emotion of 1980s action films & TV; stuff like Assault On Precinct 13, The Warriors and Miami Vice”.
