Trevor Jackson has been working at the forefront of audio and visual culture for over 20 years. As a Producer, Remixer, Art Director, Moving image maker and DJ he's worked with artists as diverse as MASSIVE ATTACK, SOULWAX, U2, DINOS CHAPMAN, RUN DMC, TIGA, THE GOSSIP and WARPAINT, His classic mix for the renowned compilation series DJ KICKS (K7! 2003), is much like his own approach to creating music: an uncompromising blend of diverse sounds that traverse the sonic spectrum. Trevor's METAL DANCE compilations (Strut 2012/13) showcasing industrial, new wave & post punk rarities from the 70's & 80's helped rekindle interest in the left-field foundations of contemporary club music and his record label Output recordings (1996-2006) was cited as a modern equivalent to the legendary Factory recordings, instrumental in launching the careers of Four Tet, LCD soundsystem as well as his own Playgroup project. With a forward-thinking approach driven by an enduring commitment to promote innovation and new talent, as well as extensive knowledge and respect for music history and its cultural roots, Jackson's ability to communicate with the dance-floor, whether it be in larger clubs like FABRIC (London) Panorama bar (Berlin) Festivals (Sonar, Glastonbury,) High profile music, fashion & Art events (Kraftwerk at the Tate, Serpentine Summer party, V&A, ICA, Art Basel) or smaller underground parties across the globe as well as his regular fortnightly NTS radio show, keep him one of London's most notable & well respected dj's.
