Formed in 2018 through a mutual love of garage and punk music, The Shan rip through songs with an intensity that feels like an atomic blast, merging punk ferocity with an eclectic range of influences from the earliest rock n roll heroes to the current day warriors. 25th of August marks their debut performance and initial release at Leith Depot in their home town of Edinburgh. The debut EP “Meanwhile” recorded at Strait Up Studios and released on the band’s own Crude Bones Records Label was released on August 1st 2018.
